Terms & Conditions
By joining CrossFit AKL, you are acknowledging you are aware of the following:
- Although the CrossFit AKL coaches take all precautions necessary, participation in this activity does involve risk of injury.
- The CrossFit AKL Coaches and Team will not be held accountable for any injury that could occur from participating.
- At any time do I not agree with or feel comfortable doing a particular activity, you are able to let the coach know and discuss an alternative movement.
- The risks involved in exercising at CrossFit AKL and your choosing to participate is voluntary.
Weekly Memberships
All Weekly Memberships are non contractual and can be terminated upon request from the member.
CrossFit AKL requires a minimum of 28 days written notice to cancel or suspend a membership. All requests can be sent to hello@crossfitakl.co.nz
Weekly Memberships hold a minimum 2 weeks suspension at a time, maximum of 4 weeks per year.
12 Month Savings Memberships
By signing up for a 12-month membership at CrossFit AKL, you are committing to training for a duration of 12 consecutive months. This commitment period begins on the date of enrollment and ends after 12 months.
No Cancellation During Commitment Period:
During the 12-month commitment period, you are not eligible to cancel your membership. Regardless of the circumstances, including personal reasons or unforeseen events, the membership cannot be terminated before the completion of the 12 months.
Weekly Payments:
You agree to make weekly payments for the duration of your membership. These payments are non-refundable and will continue until the 12-month commitment period has concluded.
Membership Freeze:
Under exceptional circumstances, CrossFit AKL may consider freezing your membership for a temporary period. Freeze requests must be made in writing and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If approved, the freeze will extend the membership duration by the freeze period.
Payment Responsibility:
It is your responsibility to ensure that your weekly payments are made on time. Failure to do so may result in a suspension of your membership, but it does not terminate your 12-month commitment.
Membership Transfer:
Memberships are non-transferable and may not be transferred to another individual during the 12-month commitment period.
Termination After Commitment Period:
After the 12-month commitment period has concluded, your membership will automatically convert into a new 12 month membership unless written notice to change or cancel membership has been sent in writing to hello@crossfitakl.co.nz, which can be canceled with proper notice in accordance with our standard cancellation policy.
Refunds:
No refunds will be provided for any reason, including but not limited to illness, relocation, or dissatisfaction with the services, during the 12-month commitment period.
Modification of Terms:
CrossFit AKL reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at its discretion. Any changes will be communicated to members in writing with a reasonable notice period.
By signing up for a 12-month membership at CrossFit AKL, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. Please review them carefully before proceeding with your membership enrollment.
Concession Cards
All Concession Cards are non-refundable and expire.
5 Class Concession Cards expire 1 month from date of purchase.
10 Class Concession Cards expire 3 months from date of purchase.
Concession Cards are a one-off purchase.
CrossFit Induction
CrossFit Inductions are non-refundable and payment is required on or before the date of the first session.
CrossFit Induction’s are $149.00 for 2 sessions with a qualified CrossFit Coach.
At the end of 2 sessions, the coach will advise if you are ready for class, or if you need an additional session. Additional sessions are charged at $80.00.
Induction Sessions differ from Personal Training sessions and are charged differently.
