Primary Objective: Keep the Bench Press to 2 sets or less on each round.
Secondary Objective: Keep a steady pace and complete between 6-8 rounds of the AMRAP
Stimulus: Upper Body Muscular Stamina / Endurance
RPE: 8/10
Workout Flow and Athlete Notes:
Athlete 1 will start on the Bench Press and begin by completing 15 Bench Press reps before moving onto the Dual Dumbbell Box Step-Ups. Athlete 2 can move onto the Bench Press as soon as athlete 1 finishes. Once athlete 1 is done with both the Dual Dumbbell Step-Ups and Devils Press athlete 2 can move onto the Dumbbells. Athlete 1 will move back to the Bench and this will continue for the full 20:00 minute AMRAP. The expectation is that there will be rest built in here as athletes will need to wait for their partners as they continue back and forth during this AMRAP.
The goal is to keep to around 2-3 minutes per round for the duration of the AMRAP.
